Ewa is Sophie Kobos' (SCN8A warrior) grandma, who moved to the U.S when Sophie was born. Sophie has a very deep, and special bond with her grandma who lives with her, her brother Constantine and mom, Karolina, and helps to care for Sophie.

Purple is Sophie's favorite color. Sophie also likes flowers but cannot really draw them well herself. She asks for others to draw them for her and often reminds that her flowers need to be purple.
